MIK, when Samick was making Epiphones and other Gibson style guitars of various brands, and decided to make some. It is made like an old LP Model, and screams like the one in the clip, with factory pups and electronics. Depends what your paying.I seen the Malibu's go for under $100. I have one of their 1990s LP types, similar to the one in this short clip. The headstock sort of resembles PRS's and is 3 to a side tuners which is Odd for Tele and Strat style guitars but non the less works Fine! The headstock is also straight string pull! Like I said there's a lot of bang for the buck. Interesting thing about the necks are the playing surface is a High Gloss while the back of the neck is Satin. Grover Tuners, DD-Pups, Quilt Top, Bound Top? As far as the Malibu It has the same neck as the Formula which is a Bolt-On. Appointments galore for an inexpensive electric.

Samick Gregg Bennett Series was given a Editors Pick Award. One of my oldest and best playing strats is a MIC 2002 Squier Bullet. For a couple hundred dollar guitar they are a lot of bang for the buck. Well, it turns out it was a tele shaped body, but it had arm and tummy contours, and a little, odd shaped pickguard under the strings. Free from blemishes, scratches, and user wear. Every review I read about a Korean guitar, they say its shitty and constructed like a piece of shite but I don.
